The Accord Card is Aberdeen City Council's smartcard which provides access to a variety of local and national services such as Access to Leisure, Young Scot, school meals at all of the councils twelve secondary schools, free bus travel and much more. The Accord Card team is always looking for new and exciting benefits so other services may be added in the future.

Aberdeen City Council launches the Residents Discount Scheme
Aberdeen City residents will soon be able to take advantage of a wide variety of discounts and special offers on many council services and activities.
This new Residents Discount Scheme will begin on 2 April 2012 and is available to all residents of Aberdeen City. City residents just need to swipe their Accord Card at participating sites to get the discount.

Aberdeen City Council recognises that many people live out with the city but frequently travel in for work, business and social activities, making a vital contribution to the city's economy.
Beginning on 2 April 2012 the Council therefore also launches a Visitor Card enabling non residents to take advantage of the majority of offers and discounts available under the Residents Discount Scheme (activities and classes funded by the Common Good Fund are exclusive to Aberdeen City residents only).
Visitor Cards will be available for purchase from the Central Library at a cost of £10. The Visitor Card is excellent value for money and is valid for two years from the date of purchase.
Accord Card top-ups now available to all secondary school pupils attending one of Aberdeen City Council's secondary schools
Top-up your child's Accord Card online and you'll no longer need to remember to give them cash or a cheque to take to school! It's safe, secure and convenient and all you need to do is enter your child's Accord Card number and the name of the secondary school to Top up online.
