  • Library Membership:

The Accord Card can be used as your library card, reducing the need to carry a separate library card. This can be used at the Central Library and at all branch libraries throughout the city.
Please find a link to Aberdeen City Libraries.

  • Access to Leisure:

Entitlement to the Councils Access to Leisure scheme is now held on the Accord card. Following a review of the scheme in 2007, all Aberdeen citizens 60 years of age and over now receive free lifetime membership to the scheme. The entitlement details are not printed on the card, rather it is electronically stored in the card and can only be viewed by specific card readers at those Council sites participating in the scheme.

This also applies to those citizens under 60 years of age with the exception that their entitlement will be restricted to a set period of up to one year. If at the end of this time they are still entitled to Access to Leisure then the entitlement can be instantly renewed electronically at one of the Council's Customer Access Points.
