Pupils get the most from your Accord Card...

Listed below are all the benefits of carrying an Accord Card with you every day, at school and outside school.

  • Proof of Age:

Legislation has made it an offence for retailers to sell products, restricted by law, to a minimum age group.
Find out more by clicking on this link Proof of Age

  • School Meals, Cashless Catering, School Catering Allowance and Vending:

If you attend an Aberdeen City Council secondary school, you will be able to load cash onto your card at load terminals in the school, or by presenting a cheque (made payable to Aberdeen City Council) to the school.
Find out more by clicking on this link Cashless Catering

  • Discounts and Young Scot:

This is a particularly popular aspect of the card, as you can obtain discounts from a large number of retail outlets in Aberdeen City (over 31 shops at the last count).
Find out more by clicking on this link Discounts.  Alternatively please visit the Young Scot website at
www.youngscot.org.uk.

  • Library Membership:

The Accord Card can be used as your library card, reducing the need to carry a separate library card. This can be used at the Central Library and at all branch libraries throughout the city. Please find a link to Aberdeen City Libraries.

  • Travel:

To find out if you are entitled to concessionary or free Scotland wide bus travel, please click on the Travel link. Travel
