About Us

The Accord Card, Aberdeen City Council's smartcard, not only provides concessionary Travel to anyone aged 60 and over and many disabled people, it also gives secondary school pupils access to Cashless Catering at all of Aberdeen City Council's secondary schools and can be used as your library membership card across all of the City's libraries.

Whether you are 18 and want to buy a drink at a pub or you are 15 and want to buy tickets at a cinema, you may find the Accord Card useful as Proof of Age without having to carry your passport or driving licence around. Sport Aberdeen members will appreciate the Accord Card as their Sport Aberdeen Membership card and many young people already make good use of the Young Scot information portal. Depending on your circumstances, you may also qualify for Access to Leisure. That could be anything from FREE swimming to DISCOUNTS on sporting and leisure activities to HALF PRICE childcare! Visit the Access to Leisure to find out more.

What's more, the Accord Card is FREE and Aberdeen City residents can also get up to 50% discount on many things from leisure, sport to audio visual lending at libraries across the City.

Introduction of the

Primary School Meal System

Airyhall Primary School has been live now for a few months and Aberdeen City Council's Catering Service is pleased to announce that they will introduce the new Primary School Meal System to Tullos Primary School on Monday 15 September 2014. The system, which has been developed by the Accord Card team and replaces the current paper meal tickets, works with 'electronic accounts'.

Each pupil has their own Kidz Card with their name and individual card number. The card is used in the classroom to order lunch. Having an account also means that you can top-up your child's account online and we send you a weekly alert to let you know your child's balance. You can also opt into further alerts by using the options on the Cashless Catering page.

We created a short video called Primary School Meals  for you and your child that explains how the system works.

If your child is a pupil at Tullos Primary School you have/or will shortly receive a letter and leaflet with more details on the new system. If you have any questions regarding the new system at Tullos Primary School contact us on 01224 346834 or email us at

Now with fantastic lower rates!

From 1 March 2014 Co-wheels have simplified their tariffs and lowered their day rate.

Hourly rates will start from just £3.75 / hour, mileage rates will be slashed to 13 pence per mile.

What's more use your Accord Card as your membership card and you get FREE membership and £20 driving credit. Find out more at our Pay As You Go Driving website.
