The Accord Card, Aberdeen City Council's smartcard, not only provides concessionary Travel to anyone aged 60 and over and many disabled people, it also gives secondary school pupils access to Cashless Catering at all of Aberdeen City Council's secondary schools and can be used as your library membership card across all of the City's libraries.
Whether you are 18 and want to buy a drink at a pub or you are 15 and want to buy tickets at a cinema, you may find the Accord Card useful as Proof of Age without having to carry your passport or driving licence around.
What's more, the Accord Card is FREE and Aberdeen City residents can also get up to 50% discount on many things from leisure, sport to audio visual lending at libraries across the City.
Congratulations to the 12 lucky winners of a KOBO Mini eReader!
Book Week Scotland is about celebrating books and reading in every part of life in Scotland.
Between 25 November and 1 December 2013, people of all ages and of all walks of life will be able to come together in libraries, schools, community venues and workplaces to share and enjoy books and reading.
To celebrate Book Week Scotland we have given away 12 KOBO Mini eReaders. To be in with a chance to win, pupils at Aberdeen City Council's secondary schools had to have a school meal every day between 18 November and 22 November 2013.
The winners have been drawn and the parents/cares of the winners have been informed that their child has won a reader.
